2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We may collect your name, email address, purchase and transaction records, course account and progress information, marketing preferences, messages and feedback, and technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, cookie identifiers, pages visited and referral source.

3. HOW WE COLLECT IT

We receive information directly from you when you subscribe, download a resource, purchase Breaking Free, create an account, use the course, contact us or complete a form. We may also receive limited information from the providers supporting our website, email, payments and course delivery.

4. WHY WE USE IT

We use personal information to:

  • provide purchases, accounts, course access and support;

  • operate and secure the website and course platform;

  • maintain accounting, compliance and transaction records;

  • deliver requested resources and necessary service messages;

  • send marketing where you have consented or another lawful route applies; and

  • understand engagement and improve our content and services.

Our lawful bases are contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests and consent, depending on the purpose. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

5. MARKETING

Marketing consent is separate from purchase and is not pre-ticked. You can unsubscribe through the link in an email or by contacting us. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary messages about an order, account, security issue or requested support.

6. SHARING AND SERVICE PROVIDERS

We share information only where reasonably necessary with providers supporting website hosting and forms, email delivery, analytics, payment processing, course hosting and access, file storage, security, administration and professional advice. Our current launch services include Mastermind/ClientClub for website, checkout and course delivery, Stripe for payment processing, and the email and automation services configured within our platform. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect legal rights.

7. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, we rely on an adequacy regulation, approved contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism.

8. RETENTION

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed. Purchase and accounting records are normally retained for six years after the relevant financial year or transaction. Customer account records are retained while access is provided and for a reasonable period afterwards. Marketing records are retained until you unsubscribe, together with a minimal suppression record. Routine enquiries are reviewed and normally deleted within 24 months unless a longer period is justified.

9. SECURITY

We use proportionate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, restrict access and respond to suspected security incidents.

10. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information, object to processing, receive portable information and withdraw consent. These rights are not absolute. Contact [email protected] to make a request; we may need to verify your identity.

11. COOKIES

Essential technologies support security, sessions, checkout and requested services. Optional analytics and marketing technologies must remain disabled until you make an appropriate choice. See our Cookies Notice and use the Cookie Settings control to manage your preferences where available.

12. COMPLAINTS

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.

13. CHILDREN

Breaking Free is intended for adults. We do not knowingly market the paid product to children or intentionally collect children’s information through it.

14. CHANGES

We may update this notice when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The current version and effective date will appear on this page.
